Rustic Camping along Saginaw Bay Vanderbilt County Park & Campground, Tuscola's hidden gem on the Saginaw Bay shoreline, sits among the shady, rustic shoreline of the bay along M-25 between Quanicassee and Unionville. The park offers close to 18-acres of rich natural scenic beauty available for day use or overnight camping. Featuring access to the bay, playground and volleyball equipment, picnic areas, grills, rustic restrooms and fire rings; along with improved and rustic campsites, it's only a short drive north from Frankenmuth or east of the Tri-cities (Saginaw, Bay City and Midland). Plus, it's within a couple hours drive from metro Detroit and the greater Lansing area. Marina launches, shopping, dining and unique area attractions are nearby as well. The park is open year round with camping available from April 15 through Nov. 30.
